40 Somethin'

The Hot Wheels 40 Somethin' was designed by Eric Tscherne and first released in 2002. Eric Tscherne also designed, among others, the Switchback and the Muscle Tone. The 40 Somethin' is a modern take on the Ford GT40, therefore the name.

This is a First Editions model. It's an exclusive one that is rather hard to find. The common model has PR5 wheels.

There are names written on the car, "Pitschke", "Correa", etc. Someone said on Hot Wheels Wikia that these are names of Eric Tscherne's family members.
